Overseas Projects

With strengths in technology, standards, management, human resources and brand influence, as well as rich experience in EPC management for international projects, State Grid has been actively promoting grid interconnectivity, power projects contracting, electrical equipment export as well as international exchanges and cooperation in countries along the Belt and Road. Connectivity

State Grid has built 10 transnational transmission lines with neighboring countries including Russia, Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, with electricity trading volumes accumulating to over 31 TWh. Currently, State Grid is advancing the feasibility study of China-Nepal and China-Korea Interconnection projects. The company has also played an active role in cross-border interconnection projects.
